RatBite OÜ sales and return terms and conditions
1. General provisions
These terms and conditions of sale and return govern the legal relationship between the buyer and the RatBite online store when purchasing products from the online store. By purchasing from the online store, the buyer confirms that he has read these terms and conditions and agrees to them.
2. Prices
All prices displayed in the online store are in euros and include VAT (€).
The online store has the right to change prices. If an order is placed before the price change comes into effect, the price valid at the time of placing the order applies to the buyer.
3. Order processing
To place an order, you must add the desired products to the shopping cart, fill in the required data fields and pay for the order using the selected payment method. The sales contract comes into force from the moment the buyer has paid for the order and the online store has confirmed the order.
4. Delivery
Orders are delivered worldwide. The delivery time depends on the selected delivery method and is displayed when placing the order. The online store is not responsible for any delay in delivery if the delay is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the online store.
5. Right of withdrawal
The consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in an online store within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, a corresponding application must be submitted by e-mail. The returned goods must be unused and in a condition that allows them to be resold.
6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Section 49 of the Law of Obligations Act, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the following products:
Live bait:
Dubia cockroaches
Marble cockroaches
Other insects and animals sold as live bait
These are living organisms whose quality depends on storage and transportation conditions and which cannot be resold after return.
Frozen feed animals:
Frozen mice
Frozen rats
Other frozen fodder animals
These are perishable goods, the quality of which depends on an uninterrupted cold chain. Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to these products after the goods have been delivered to the buyer.
7. Filing claims
The online store is responsible for the non-compliance of the goods sold with the terms of the contract in accordance with applicable legislation. If a defect is discovered, the buyer must contact us as soon as possible, but no later than within two months of the defect being discovered. 8. Specific conditions for live feed and frozen feed
In the case of live feed, any potential problems or transport damage must be reported no later than Within 24 hours after receiving the goods. In the case of frozen feed, possible damage or thawing must also be reported. Within 24 hours after receiving the goods, by attaching photos of the received goods and packaging. Claims submitted later may not be able to be resolved, as the condition of the products depends on their preservation after delivery.
9. Limitation of liability
The online store is not responsible for damages caused by improper use, storage or maintenance of the products after they have been delivered to the buyer.
10. Processing of personal data
The online store uses the personal data provided by the buyer only for order processing, delivery and customer communication.
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties, except to the extent necessary to fulfill the order or comply with a legal obligation.
11. Dispute resolution
All disputes will be resolved through negotiations.
If no agreement is reached, the consumer has the right to contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Surveillance Authority or use the European Union's online dispute resolution environment.
